i saw a movie

i just saw materialists, i don’t know if i actually liked it or not, but i am very struck by chris evans’ character, john, who is the poor option of dakota johnson’s rich man vs poor man dilema. if you watch the movie it becomes very clear almost immediately that rich vs poor is actually just a way to frame man who is cool to love vs man i actually love.
